I am an alcoholic. I began consuming booze at the age of 10. This is because I descend from a family of alcohol drinkers. But for some reason, I am the only one in my family that became an extreme problem drinker. There’s so much to be said, told, and revealed but I will as briefly as possible recount 2 shamefully embarrassing incidents I created.
I can’t remember how old I was at the time, but I recall drinking Jose Cuervo Tequila and finishing an entire bottle by myself. I was living at my grandparents’ house at the time. Then I blacked out. I woke up in the morning with thick, mushy, fecal matter all over my back. I felt something cold and squishy in my pants, so when I got up from the couch I was sleeping on I pulled my pants off and sure enough I took a shit in my pants while I was passed out.
This other incident involved a family gathering at a restaurant for my uncle’s birthday party. While the family members were at a dinner table booth talking and chatting and having a great time, I was hunched over the restaurant bar drinking Long Island Iced Teas. I had 4 of them. The bartender told me that I had had enough. I didn’t like what he said so I began threatening him to give me another drink. Then I walked over to the dinner table to where my family members were talking and I began punching my uncle in the face. I was escorted outside and all of my family members came out and I began to try to fight every single one of them. That is all I can remember.
I have countless other stories. But we all see the point here and the point being I cannot drink alcoholic drinks safely or responsibly without causing or getting into trouble because I am an alcoholic and a problem drinker.
